Essex County Craft Show FAQ

Do I require a ticket?

Yes, the Essex County Craft Show is a ticketed event and tickets can be booked online or over the phone (Mon-Fri 9.30am – 2.30pm) on 01206 683 897 in advance for a discount price. The advance ticket discount price ends at 23.59 on 26/06/2026, after which tickets can still be purchased online, over the phone or at the gate,  subject to availability, but at a higher rate.

Both card & cash payment options will be accepted at the gate. 

Afternoon entry tickets can be purchased for a reduced rate which allows entry from 2pm. 

    Is there a booking fee?

    Yes, in order to cover payment and 3rd party ticket processing fees a small booking fee of £1.50 is added per order.

    Can I go into Ingatestone Hall?

    Admission tickets for the Craft Show do not include entry into the house itself. An additional ticket upgrade of £2 per person, payable upon entry to the house, can be purchased to include entry into Ingatestone Hall to view the eight principal rooms containing paintings, furniture and memorabilia accumulated over the centuries.
     

    Is there car parking at the venue?

    Yes, there is FREE parking available at the venue.

    Please note that parking is on grass which naturally can be uneven at times. Please take care when navigating the carpark.

    Is there disabled parking at the venue?

    Yes, accessible parking is available close to the event entrance. Please notify event stewards and follow signage to the disabled parking area when arriving at the venue.

    Is the event wheelchair friendly?

    Due to areas of deep gravel on some pathways and uneven ground we do not recommend the Show for wheelchair users. 

     

    Do you offer a discount for carers?

    Yes, carers can gain free entry to the Essex County Craft Show when accompanying the ticket holder that they care for.

    Carers are required to book a carer ticket and may be asked to show eligibility at the gate. 

    Are dogs permitted at the event?

    Well behaved dogs, on a short lead are welcome into the grounds but are not permitted into Ingatestone Hall or the marquees. We will have water bowls available at the event but please leave your dog at home if it is a very hot day.  

    Will food & drink be available?

    Yes, a wide variety of quality food and drink options will be available to enjoy on site. 

    Ingatestone Hall will also be serving refreshments and eat in or takeaway (picnic box) afternoon teas from the Wood Yard.
